Sure I can open the files with no problem. The issue persist even if I unzip the file.
The OS is centos 5.4 (Linux kernel 2.6.18) 64 bits.
Here is the vim version output:

user vimrc file: "$HOME/.vimrc"
user exrc file: "$HOME/.exrc"
fall-back for $VIM: "/usr/local/share/vim"

gcc -c -I. -Iproto -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1
Linking: gcc -L/usr/local/lib -o vim -lm -lncurses -lselinux -lacl -lgpm
I will try vim-addon-manager you mentioned and see if it helps (Although you say it shouldn't)
Thanks,
Eran.

camelcasemotion is .vba.gz. If you don't have gunzip (or gzip -d)
you'll have problems. WHich os ? vim-addon-manager installs it without
issues - but its reusing the vimball extraction functions - so there
should be no difference.
