replace spaces by tabs begining line

Hello everyone,
I would like to refactor code and to be able to replace spaces that are on
the begining of lines by tabs (lets say 4 spaces = 1 tab).
Unfortunatelly I can't find a prpoer way to do it...
I red about retab but couldn't find a clear tutorial...

Do you have some insight ?
Thanks for reading
