Thanks for the analysis. It hadn't occcurred to me to look for
the images or a cache of the user/script.

My theory: A user created a valid Vim script. A year or so
later, their priorities changed and they did not want to
maintain the script, or they found much better solutions were
available. They tried to delete the script or their profile at
vim.org, and found they couldn't.

A likely reaction is what happened with script 1670, namely, the
user blanked their details and uploaded some irrelevant but
harmless images. My theory does not explain how the original
valid script was deleted. Perhaps a manager for vim.org saw that
a useless image had been uploaded, and deleted all packages for
script 1670, including the original and valid script?

At any rate, I have deleted the following scripts and their
download packages: 1301, 1476, 1670, 1789, 2664.

In two cases, the user has other valid scripts, and I did not
touch the user. I deleted the other users (including the author
of script 1670 who clearly no longer wants to be on vim.org).

Bram alerted me to 1670 (probably someone told him). I have done
other investigations which led me to the scripts mentioned
above, and I have some vague plans about how I might detect old
junk. I have been manually checking all new scripts, every day
or two, and will continue.

I have around ten other old scripts to delete: a couple that
Charles Campbell has withdrawn (due to an attack on the script
ratings that we discussed a while back), and some old junk which
looks harmless but is not related to Vim (some of which is
definitely old spam).
