the order in completion to :tag command

Dear Vim_use,

I have a tag file with lots of tags of the form: 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.10,
3.2.11 (theorem numbers in a LaTeX file). Is there a setting (locale?)
which I could change so that the order of tags displayed by:
:tag ^d
is the dictionary order, vim sorts 3.2.10 before 3.2.1 which in my
work flow seems strange.
