how to go back after CTRL- ]

I know it will come back using CTRL-o,however,not so conviently as I
want. for example, when I pressed CTRL-] to another file, and then
pressed CTRL-f, and then CTRL-o ,I will go back to the position just
before CTRL -f ,not before CTRL-].

any keys to go back directly to the previous file ,ignoring any
movement within the file ?
