So am I. But I write books/ebooks that suggest using gvim as a
text editor. Win 8 looks like Android, which has no command line
access that I know of. Short of actually buying Win 8 and
installing the beast, I would like some assurance that Gvim can be
installed and used using the same methods as were used for
earlier versions of MSWin.
