Re: gvim from putty

I don't think putty will achieve that.  ( sorry, I'm not familiar with that. )

maybe what u r gonna try is cygwin ( I'm supposing u r in windows. )

ok, can i start gnome or x server from putty.
when i run startx or x or gnome, i'm getting
the following error.
