i have been fighting with this annoying problem for a while now, but i don't manage.
I want to open gVim with a window split in two,
and i want to be able to set the size of both windows (to 78, but that's not the point).
How can i do this?
I tried to first set the number of columns of the unique window,
and then split it to the right size,
but it doesn't split to the size i specified, at all.
Why is that?
Here is what i did :
set co=156 " window's number of columns
:78 vs " open with 2 vertical windows
