Column folding

Hi,

I would like to be able to fold columns (my data is very wide and I'd like to suppress certain columns). I found one posting on this forum from 2010 suggesting conceal+foldcol or something like that. Googling seems to indicate that something related to this was added in vim 7.3.

Is it now possible to fold columns, and, if so, how?
