Great idea!

Whenever line numbering is enabled, whether absolute or relative,
I'd like the value at the current cursor line to be highlighted,
preferably in reverse video. It would really help me see on which
line my cursor resides. Sometimes I lose its place, especially
when switching among multiple windows.
