markdown experiences - Plasticboy mkd.vim vs t-pope

I love the markdown syntax, so getting to work well in VIM is
important to me. Maybe my experience will help others.

t-pope has his vim-markdown plugin which is well made. However,
plasticboy's syntax file (which frustratingly comes with no ftdetect/
ftplugin files) seems to have more complete highlighting. Curiously,
both syntax files are 104 lines longs.

Anyone have any experience about which is better?
