:grep and :vimgrep (and their variations) is what we have. For me, its
is even better than grabbing the mouse and then coming back to the
keyboard. See to it that in the quickfix window you can use / plus n
and N to go to the next/previous matches.
Also, you might want to take a look at project.vim.
