Thanks, for the prompt reply, Marc. I'm on the run. Errands and an appointment to get to. Wanted to respond before heading out.
Deleting those lines from the code for putting VAM in the runtime path made no difference. Still can't open a window. [In case it matters, I'm on a Mac.]
I believe I have git in PATH, but I'm not certain. How do I check?
