It sounds like you might want the \%c or \%v tokens, something like
/\%10c\s*[1-9]\d*\s*\%20c/
The difference between the "v" and "c" versions regard how they
treat tab-character expansion (is it one character, or
'shiftwidth'ish characters).
:help /\%c
:h /\%v
