I'm intrigued by this, Phil. The documentation recommends installing by pathogen or vundle. I'm assuming vim-addon-manager will do as good a job. In any case, it's what I would use. A little concerned at the requirement of use of a "fontpatcher and "patched font." Might be more than I want to get into.
