VimEnter Auto Command Error

Hi,

Does anyone know why I'm getting the following error and how to
resolve it?

Error detected while processing VimEnter Auto commands for "*":

E492: Not an editor command: NERDTree

In my .vimrc file I have: autocmd VimEnter * NERDTree and I'm using
pathogen.
