Don't repost a first post too quickly (Was: Copyright statement)

The first message by any poster must be approved by a human moderator,
and on these lists, moderators are few, and from time to time they also
need to sleep, shop, or even access the Internet for other purposes than
Vim; this may mean a few hours' wait (for the first message only, plus
any that come in before the first one is approved). This is unfortunate,
but necessary in order to avoid having the list flooded by spam. For
this reason, you should have waited more than six minutes before
resending your message.

Normally any further messages by you should appear without waiting (but
please, don't send "test" messages, everyone would receive them!)


N.B. I'm sending this publicly rather than privately, not to shame you
but just in the hope that further newbies will see it by reading the
list before they post their first message(s).
