ctags -R . #  or such should be enougb

Be aware that modern IDE's have many Java features which make it very
hard to code faster in Vim than in an IDE. (Given that you installed
vi(m) key bindings for them)

Thanks march for the answere but i do use all modern ide eclipse,netbeans but i am exploring vim and find it has some great featires does c tags work for java
