If it's only for display, then you'd want to keep the underlying
text and just change the font. However, if you want, Linux has a
package of filters ("apt-get install filters" on my Debian box) that
includes "b1ff" and "eleet" so you can do things like

:%!b1ff
:%!eleet

to filter your text through b1ff/eleet to get the text so it comes
out visually converted. The whole package is full of fun filters.
