With gvim 7.2 in both opensuse 10.2 and 11.1, when I maximize a
window, the resulting window doesn't show a restore button in the
title bar but a maximize button. If I click that maximize button, it
briefly changes to a restore button but returns to a maximize button.
The window cannot be restored to its original size.
This situation obtains whether invoked by "gvim" and "gvim -u NONE"!
I would say something is broken out of the box.
