I was wondering: Any reason why completion isn't used for setting
filetypes on the command-line? For instance, it would be nice if
typing
:set ft=py<wildchar>
could complete to 'python' or could bring up the list of filetypes
beginning by 'py'. This would be interesting when one doesn't know the
exact name of the filetype, or just to save time. I also use
command-line completion so often that I also unintentionally try to
use it for filetypes, and end up with garbage characters...
