RE: Gq inside C-comments

I have one solution to my question of January 25, 2011:

nmap \foo ngqN
let @/='^ *\*\s*$'

Then, putting the cursor inside the para to be formatted
and hitting \foo will format it.

Any suggestions on improving this solution?
