Re: How to set selectmode?

When I set them as shown at ":help :set" with

:set selectmode+=key keymodel+=startsel

(no quotes, and only 2 spaces: one after "set" and one separating
the options) then using <S-Left> works in terminals that send
such a sequence. This is presuming there's not some build-option
that snips out SELECT mode, though I neither spotted one in
":help select-mode" nor anything indicating such a build-option
in the output of ":ver". The leading ":" allows you to test it
in a vim session; it can be omitted when putting the line in your
vimrc file.
