That would probably be better, but the best option (if you want to
attach the files) would probably be to:

1. Resize the images to make them smaller. We don't need to see the
image at your full screen resolution to get the idea. Or, resize the
Vim window to the default 40X80 character window and crop to that
size.

And also:
2. Decrease the quality on the jpg files, or use a different image
format (.png is good for screenshots that have text you wish to be
readable). The fact that a zip archive of the two images gets better
than 50% compression tells me that you're not compressing the original
images enough (if at all).

These would probably be a good idea even if you post the images to an
external site.

As for your original problem, the taglist plugin has an option that
causes it to open on the right-hand side. If you've properly installed
TagList, including the documentation, you can read through :help
taglist-options to find it.
