This behavior of the last 'pasted over' text getting yanked has always
annoyed me. I do this a lot too. It would be nice if there were some
option that let's us configure which events we wanted to get yanked, I
would chose deletions (e.g diw) and yanks, but not puts. It IS nice to
have the pasted over text in some register, but not the most common
one.
